The campus of Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, PA., where new Foundation Scholar Jordan Dodd will begin studies in sport management this fall.
For Jordan Dodd, photography is more than taking pictures. It is a way to capture moments, energy, and emotion. Especially in sports. Through his work on the media team at Paul Laurence Dunbar High School, Jordan discovered the joy of being behind the camera and sharing stories through images.
This fall, Jordan will attend Saint Vincent College, where he plans to study sports management and media as one of the newest Scholars of the Sister Thea Bowman Black Catholic Education Foundation. He hopes to one day build a career as a professional photographer.
Jordan’s interest in photography grew naturally through his involvement at school, where he gained experience covering a range of events. What started as an activity became something he could truly see himself pursuing in the future.
The Sister Thea Bowman Black Catholic Education Foundation supports students who are willing to work hard, grow in their faith, and use their talents in meaningful ways. Jordan’s creativity, focus, and willingness to pursue his passion reflect those values. As he begins this next chapter at Saint Vincent College, the Foundation is proud to support him and excited to see where his gifts and determination will lead.
